Terms of Use
The plain-language rules for using Held In Memory.
Last updated: June 2026. These terms apply to heldinmemory.com.au and the memorial pages created through the service.
Creating a memorial
You are responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to share it, including photos, names, stories and service information. Please consider the wishes of close family and use the service respectfully.
Your content
You keep ownership of the words and photos you add. You give Held In Memory permission to store, process and display that content so the memorial page works as intended.
Guestbook memories
Guestbook messages are reviewed by the family before they appear. We may remove content that is abusive, unlawful, spam, infringing or otherwise inappropriate.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to post unlawful, harmful, misleading or infringing content, disrupt the service, attempt unauthorised access, or misuse another family’s memorial page.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep memorial pages available, but no website can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted forever. We may update features, pricing and these terms as the service develops.
Payments
Paid options are described on the pricing page. Any future payment flow, inclusions, refund terms and support commitments should be read before purchase.
