Free memorial
The Free plan has no checkout and no recurring charge. It provides the essentials for creating, publishing and editing a memorial, and you can upgrade that memorial later.

Premium memorial: $49 AUD once per memorial
Premium is a single $49 Australian-dollar payment for one memorial. The payment unlocks the Premium features on that memorial; it is not a monthly or annual subscription.

Payment and refunds
Premium checkout is handled by Stripe, so card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout rather than on Held in Memory. Nothing in our terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, email support@heldinmemory.com.au.
What the one-time price means
One-time describes the billing model: there is no recurring Premium fee. It is not a guarantee that any website will operate uninterrupted forever. We make reasonable efforts to keep memorials available and, if the service ever had to close, to give account holders notice and time to save their content. Keep your original photographs and story text somewhere you control as well. Read the full Terms of Use.

Is Premium a subscription?
No. Premium is one $49 AUD payment for one memorial, with no monthly or annual subscription charge.
Can I begin free and upgrade later?
Yes. Start with the Free plan and upgrade the same memorial later if you need Premium features.
Exactly how many photos can I add?
Free supports up to 5 photographs. Premium supports up to 50 photographs.
Do I pay again when I edit the memorial?
No. Editing a paid Premium memorial does not trigger another Premium charge.
Can I ask for help with a payment?
Yes. Email support@heldinmemory.com.au with the account email and a brief explanation of the problem. Do not send card details.
